Summer Softball!
Lexington Little League Softball hopes to place teams in the 10U, 12U, and 14U age divisions, depending on enrollment and qualified coaches. Travel teams are put together for each age group, which is based on date of birth.
The season is slated to start during late-June and will go through early-August (specific schedule has not yet been determined). Games are typically played twice a week from 6:15 - 8:15.
Summer travel softball teams are great fun and offer a more competitive environment in which players have an opportunity to play alongside their peers while advancing their skills against neighboring communities (prior seasons have included Arlington, Bedford, Billerica, Maynard, North Reading, Winchester, and Woburn). These leagues feature faster pitching, aggressive base running, and typically more focused teams.
When Are Games and Practices?
There are two games a week and additional practices. All games are played on evenings from Monday-Thursday. Practice nights vary by coach and could include a Sunday evening. Click

Where Are the Games?
Home games are played in Lexington, and road games are played in towns in and around Middlesex and Essex Counties.

Cost - Jersey and fees
Registration Fee: $175
Late registration (after June 12th): $225 (subject to roster availability)
Team placement is determined by coaches based on prior observations during the 2025 Spring season and prior seasons. Tryouts for Lexington Liberty are held when registration numbers exceed team roster capacity.
Recognizing that families have travel and vacation plans during the summer and some players miss a few games, rosters are built with 14-16 players when possible.
