New in 2019 - Baseball Spring Travel Program
Registration will be open until March 15
Lexington Little League is excited to announce that we will be offering players age 9 and 10 years old, the opportunity to play on a spring travel team. You must play in our in-town program in order to play in the spring league.
The travel program, which is organized by Route 2 Athletics in Arlington, will allow those players who are committed and passionate about baseball to play during the spring season in a more competitive environment.
Ideally, we would like to have two 9 year old and two 10 year old teams represent Lexington in the league, but that will depend on interest and coach availability. Team rosters will have no more than 12 players and spots will be given on a first come, first serve basis. If interested in coaching, please contact [email protected]
8 game schedule starting the first weekend of April to last weekend in May
Most games will be scheduled for Saturday at 9am.
End of season tournaments will be held the first weekend in June.
Other towns include: Acton, Belmont, Concord, Waltham and Winchester
Games will have a 2 hour and 15 minute time limit.
Player & Parent Commitment:
While our in-town program is for players of all levels of interest, our travel program is designed for those who are serious about playing in a competitive environment. We recognize that kids play other spring sports, which is great! We ask that everyone who may consider this program, be upfront and honest with their availability to play games on Saturday mornings.
After a successful spring season, we hope that many of these players and coaches will consider participating in the Bay State Baseball League. Bay State strives to establish the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play in a highly competitive and demanding schedule of summer baseball games for boys and girls of Little League age. The schedule runs from the end of June through mid-August, depending on each team’s success.
2019 Schedule (subject to change by Bay State):
The 9 and 10 year old divisions typically play on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The Bay State season is scheduled to start at the end of June. The regular season ends early August and playoffs conclude by the middle of August.
