Coronavirus Update from LLL Board - PLEASE READ

Lexington Little League Families,

As we communicated earlier in the month, the start of our spring season was going to be delayed due to COVID-19, as Little League International had recommended that local leagues delay all activities until May 11th. However, with Governor Baker’s decision to keep schools closed through the end of the school year, we now need to revisit our expected timeline and determine what these new guidelines mean to both our spring and future programs in 2020.

The LLL Board will be meeting in the next week and we will provide you with an update as we learn more from the various governing bodies that impact Lexington Little League. These include Little League International, Lexington Town Recreation Department and other local sports organizations.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to monitor the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 virus.
