Open to all Lexington residents or students attending a school in Lexington, K-8th grade.

Season runs from Late April through late June (end of school).  Playoffs are for Majors and Sr League.

Tee Ball ($195) Kindergarten and 1st Grade
All K and 1st graders are eligible to play. Registered Kindergartners and 1st graders are placed, to the best of the League’s ability, on school-based teams. T-ball is a wonderful introduction to the game and the League’s emphasis is on the FUN-damentals of the game: hitting, throwing, catching, and making new friends. T-ball teams meet twice a week for roughly 6-8 weeks, usually one weekday (on either Monday or Wednesday starting at 5:30 or 6 pm), and with a second skills/game combo session on Sat. afternoons (usually 1:30 or 3 pm). Each practice/game is 1 hour. Every effort will be made to assign school-based teams but in some cases schools may be combined based on registration numbers.
Placement on school-based teams are first-come, first served and late registrations are not guaranteed placement on school-based teams.

Minors ($295) 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade
The Softball Minors division is a developmental, non-drafted, non-tournament league with a continued focus on fundamentals. Registered 2nd and 3rd graders are placed, to the best of the League’s ability, on school-based teams. The Minors’ season runs approximately 6-8 weeks with a division-wide end of year celebration. Pre-season indoor clinics (all Minors-players together) run for 3-4 weeks in late March and April. Teams play 2 games a week and have a Sunday practice. Games are held on Tuesdays or Thursdays (with a 5:30 or 6:00pm start) during the week, and Saturday afternoons (with a 1:30 or 3:30 start). (Typically teams will play one weekday game and one Saturday game but depending on the number of teams and field availability, that may vary week to week.) Sunday practice times are set at the start of the season and practices are run for all Minors teams together in a clinic format. Games run 5 innings or 2 hours—whichever comes first. Pitching in this league is combined coach-pitch with some player-pitch opportunities each game.
Placement on school-based teams are first-come, first served and late registrations are not guaranteed placement on school-based teams.

Majors ($320) Combined 4th and 5th graders
Majors is a draft league that is intended to ensure fair and balanced teams across the division. The Majors season runs approximately 8 weeks, beginning in late April. There are 6 weeks of regulation play plus a 2-week championship tournament culminating with a championship game in mid June. Pre-season indoor team practices begin in March. Majors games are held on Mondays OR Wednesdays (with a 5:30 or 6:00 start) and Saturday afternoons (with a 1:30 or 3:30 start). Games run 6 innings or 2 hours—whichever comes first. By rule, pitching in this league is strictly player-pitch.

Seniors ($320) 6th Grade, 7th Grade and 8th Grade
The Seniors division is LLL’s middle school, in-town league and is therefore designed to complement middle school schedules, minimize conflicts with other activities, and maximize field/playing time for 6th-8th graders who love softball! The Seniors schedule consists of 8-weeks of largely in-town play. Regular season games are played on Fridays and Sundays. Each team will have 1 practice per week. The season culminates with a 1-2 week championship tournament in early to mid June. League rules follow American Softball Association rules, consistent with middle school, summer, tournament and fall ball leagues. Pre-season indoor team practices begin in March.
